Disturbance sparks New Year police call-out

POLICE said they were called to a disturbance at a pub in Brightlingsea as New Year's Eve celebrations reached a peak.
Officers attended the incident at the Kings Head in Victoria Place around 11.50pm on Monday.
A police spokesman said a group of people were dispersed and no offences had been committed.
