MP not tempted by celeb gameshow

CLACTON MP Douglas Carswell says voters "wouldn't be amused" if he jetted off to take part in a TV gameshow.
Tory colleague Nadine Dorries sparked controversy by appeaing on hit ITV show I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here.
This week she was shown in the Australian jungle taking part in a stomach-churning bush-tucker trial where she chomped on a camel's toe and an ostrich anus.
Mr Carswell says there are far more pressing matters closer to home.
“My job is to stand up for our area and hold ministers to account," he told the Gazette.
“Local folk wouldn’t wouldn’t be amused if I took part in a TV gameshow on the other side of the planet.
“There are so many things about our country that need to be sorted out and put right."
