AN event has been launched to help boost tourism in Tendring.
Business bosses and tourism leaders across the district have been invited to the event in Clacton.
It has been organised to discuss the past year and identify areas where improvements can be made to boost tourism next year.
The event will be hosted by Tendring Council at the Princes Theatre in Clacton on December 6, from 9.30am to 1.30pm.
Council deputy leader Peter Halliday said: “We need to work together to strengthen this industry which employs around 15 per cent of the workforce in Tendring.
“It is important to learn from the past and come up with a plan for the future which will take us forward pulling in the same direction.”
Anyone in the tourism industry who wants to attend should contact Louise Parkes by November 23 on 01255 686668 or lparkes@tendringdc.gov.uk.
