Clacton carer clinches top training award

A TOP care trainer clinched a coveted prize at the prestigious regional care awards.

Mandy Graham, who coordinates training at Clacton care company Primary Care, secured the title of top trainer at the Great East of England Care Awards.

The finals ceremony for the awards was hosted by GMTV presenter Penny Smith in Cambridge on Saturday.

The awards recognise the top care companies and individuals in their fields.

Mandy said: “I was really surprised to be nominated, and absolutely thrilled to bits to win."

Primary Care was also up for two awards – the care employer award and frontline leaders award.

They were joined in the finals by Clacton care home Corner House, which finished as a runner up in two categories.
