Woman cut free from car following crash

A WOMAN has to be cut from her car following a crash with another vehicle outside a train station in Thorpe.
Emergency services were called to Station Road following a collision between a blue Volkswagen Golf and a green Ford Focus at about 11am on Tuesday.
Fire crews from Weeley and Clacton were called to the scene and used specialist cutting equipment to free the woman by 11.55am.
She has suffered minor injuries during the collision and was treated at the scene by East of England Ambulance Service crews.
