Fire crews called to blaze at seafront toilet block

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a small fire in a public toilet on Clacton seafront.

Two crews from Clacton were called to the toilet block, at Pier Gap, at 12.20pm on Saturday.

On arrival, the officer in charge reported the toilets were heavily smoke logged.

The fire was extinguished, using one hose reel, by 12.35pm.
