A CHILDMINDER from Brightlingsea could see her book published after she reached the final of a prestigious award.
Amanda Herbert, of Nelson Street, has been shortlisted for a Brit Writer’s Award in the children’s story category.
The recognition has come for her book The World of Mrs Cragbrook, a story of two children who climb over their neighbour’s wall to retrieve a ball only to discover a magical world.
