More students needed to run free classes in Frinton

ORGANISERS have launched a ‘use it or lose it’ appeal in a bid to get more people signed up for free maths and English lessons.

The sessions are funded by Essex County Council and run by Adult Community Learning at Soken House in Frinton’s Triangle Shopping Centre.

They were set up to help people boost maths and English skills to improve their job prospects.

But more people need to sign up for the classes in order for them to run.

Essex County Councillor Stephen Castle said: “I encourage anyone who wants to brush up on their English and maths skills take up this offer of free training.

“We need more sign ups this week to make this course possible so contact us today.”

The classes will be run on Friday mornings from 9.30am to 12.30pm if enough people sign up.
