Four men to appear in court charged with Tesco burglary

FOUR men will appear in court today in connection with a burglary in Clacton.

Police were called to Tesco, at Brook Retail Park, shortly after 9.52pm on Sunday following reports that cigarettes had been stolen.

Two vans were later followed on the A12 by police units and one was stopped at Boreham and one man was arrested.

A second van continued into Brentwood and then back on to the A12, where it was stopped at Colchester Road, Harold Wood, after colliding with several police vehicles. Three further men were arrested.

Nathan Saunders, 24, of Aviary Close, London, has been charged with burglary along with James Knight, 26, of no fixed address.

Nicholas McElroy, 23, of Bradford Street, Chelmsford, has been charged with driving while disqualified, using a vehicle without third party insurance and burglary, and Jason Bagalo, 20, of Meadgate Avenue, Chelmsford, is charged with driving while disqualified, using a vehicle without third party insurance, assaulting a constable and burglary.

All four will appear before magistrates in Chelmsford today.

I hope they get what they deserve. Put them in the Army amongst real men. Could have hurt innocent people out on the road as well. Good to know that none of them were from Clacton.
