Controversial Tesco store in Walton approved

A CONTROVERSIAL supermarket development in Walton has been given the green light.
The application for a Tesco store at the front of the Martello Caravan Park has been given final approval.
It was approved by Tendring Council planning committee in March, but certain details had to be ironed before the decision could be rubber stamped.
These conditions have now been agreed.
Work at the site must start within the next five years.
Tesco still needs to discuss construction of a new vehicle access point before construction can start.
