Peter Starkey Peter Gordon Starkey died on 9th April, 2024 in the Countess of Brecknock Hospice, Andover. A much loved father, husband, uncle, brother, friend and neighbour, and colleague to many in his time at Warsash Maritime Academy, in the Royal Naval Reserves and his decades from Cadet to Captain in the Merchant Navy. He will be greatly missed. Peter's father, Norman was manager of NatWest bank in Clacton in the 1960's. Together they played cricket for Clacton Cricket Club when Peter was home on leave.
