The artists for each crew taking part in the Red Bull Culture Clash – “the world’s biggest music battle” – have been announced.

Eskimo Dance will feature Wiley and promises the “biggest grime line-up ever”

Eskimo Dance said: “Grime is the sound of the UK, and the most powerful genre the British have produced. When the elite members unite together there is no stopping us.”

For Mixpak’s crew, Popcaan will be giving his first ever UK performance and will be joined by Dre Skull, Tony Matterhorn, Serocee, Spice, Kranium and Jubilee.

Mixpak said: “We might be the underdogs, but we’ve got a bag full of dubs fresh from Jamaica and we’re out to win this.”

So Solid Crew, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Oxide & Neutrino, Majestic and Foundation will form the UKG All Stars crew, who said: “Born out of house, jungle, hip-hop, R&B, reggae and hardcore, the UKG sound is one that is truly British and has captured the hearts of three generations. Our sound is not only truly British but it’s truly unique and has given birth to stars and sounds that the UK can be proud of.”

Finally we’ve been told to “expect A-list guests in tow” for the Wiz Khalifa and Taylor Gang crew. So watch this space.

Annie Mac, who is compering the event at London’s O2 on June 17, said: “I think Red Bull Culture Clash is one of the most exciting and innovative live music events we’ve got.

“It’s one of those events that is talked about and anticipated by artists and fans on an equal level. I have been there as a fan, as the host of a sound, and most recently as a host of the event. I’m delighted and excited to come back this year to host again.”
