FAB Four fans are in for a Magical History Tour when the Upbeat Beatles stop off at Clacton's West Cliff Theatre.
The band has been performing for more than 17 years – almost three times as long as the Beatles.
They chart the Moptops' careers from the depths of the Cavern Club to their famous last gig on record label Apple's roof-top in London.
The journey takes audiences through the frenetic early TV performances and Beatlemania to conquering America at Shea Stadium, the flower power psychedelia of Sergeant Pepper and finally on to Abbey Road.
Breath-taking harmonies and guitar solos from She Loves You to I Am The Walrus and beyond are all wrapped up in Scouse humour.
The show features the very best of John, Paul, George and Ringo, with film footage helping to recreate the excitement and magnetic power of their incredible careers and more than two hours of groundbreaking music.
The Upbeat Beatles are in town this Saturday***SEPT09*** at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced £19.50 (£18.50 over-60s) from the box office on 01255 433344.
