AWARD-WINNING classical crooners Blake are giving a local choir the chance to star with them on stage when they play Clacton later this year.

The lads have launched a nationwide search for choirs across the country to join them on each date of their UK tour.

They all found their love of music at a young age and sang in various groups and choirs throughout their childhoods.

Tenor Oliver Baines said: “We thought about how we could involve school choirs and local community choirs in our live shows, and that getting some of the choirs up on stage with us would be a great experience for both them and us.”

Blake are playing at the West Cliff Theatre on October 29 in what is being billed as their most spectacular stage show yet, with top musicians and impressive video projections.

They will perform an eclectic mix of classical, pop and songs from the musicals, and their famous Rat Pack-style banter promises to feature some fascinating new stories from last year.

The tour follows appearances on the Graham Norton Show, One Show and Strictly Come Dancing alongside Dame Shirley Bassey.

Choirs who would like the chance to join Blake on stage should send a YouTube video link of themselves performing to info@BlakeOfficial.com along with a short description of their group.
