Slim in for breast cancer unit
ADD your weight to a sponsored slim to help the local breast cancer unit.
The sponsored slim in is being organised by Clacton's Active4Life after three of its ladies were diagnosed with breast cancer this year.
The weigh in for the sponsored slim in is at Clacton leisure centre on Monday***19*** from 9am until 9pm when forms will be handed out and the follow up weigh in will be three months later on August 11.
Anyone can take part - not just members of the three weekly 0ver50s fitness and recreation classes.
Mrs Pauline Edmonds***corr*** who is chairman of Active4Life and event organiser was diagnosed with breast cancer after a mammography in January.
