PETROL-HEADS will be in dreamland on Sunday when more than 200 cars descend on Walton for the town's annual classic car show.

Organisers are promising a bumper turn-out at the family fun day, which attracted up to 4,000 people last year.

Maria Eastwood, of Walton Forum, said: "There are already 200 cars entered which is more than usual.

"Last year we had about 150 by this time and extra cars turned up on the day which took us to the 200 mark."

The popular show has been running for more than ten years and is one of the biggest events in Walton's calendar.

It takes place on Bath House Meadow on September 10 from 10am to 4pm. Admission is free.
