A LECTURER described as the best unknown artist in the world will be giving a talk to the Clacton Arts and Lits Society.
Anthony Slinn, who studied at Liverpool College of Art at the same times as the Beatles, is presenting the Great Masterpieces of the Twentieth Century at the Princes Theatre, Clacton, on Monday at 7.30pm.
He continued his postgraduate painting at the Slade School, where his tutor was art great Sir Ernst Gombrich.
Having travelled and painted everywhere from Florida to Flanders, and Paris to St Petersburg, it is the globe-trotting that has seen Anthony discover sources of creativity and other amazing discoveries.
Tickets for the show cost £10 on the door from 7.15pm.
