Frinton schoolboy wins Essex Factor

A YOUNG Frinton schoolboy with a big voice has won the Essex Factor.

Ten-year-old William Rudkin who is being classically trained, was one of 12 singers hitting the high notes in the competition in aid of Little Haven’s children’s hospice.

The event organised by the Mad About Theatre Company in Holland-on-Sea raised £300.

The contestants ranged from four to 75 performed songs from Broadway to upto the minute chart hits for the audience vote.

The event has been running for the last six years and in total the Mad About Theatre Company has raised £64,000 for cancer charities over ten years.
