YOUNG dancers from the Clacton area waltzed their way around the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool and quickstepped home with 11 trophies.

The Strictly Come Dancing style competition attracted hundreds of young dancers from all over the UK including scores from the Julia Spencer School of Dancing.

The children and teenagers qualified to take part by winning area finals during the year and then went on to take the trophies in Blackpool.
