SEUSSICAL the musical takes to the stage with secondary and primary school students and the Tendring Youth Theatre on Wednesday and Thursday This fun and slightly mad musical is being performed by some 100 lower school students from Clacton County High, Year 6 primary pupils and Melissa Wenn’s youth theatre.

They bring the well known Dr Seuss characters including The Grinch, The Cat in the Hat, Mayzie La Bird and Gertrude McFuzz as they tell the tale of Horton the Elephant.

The musical has also included older students who have helped with the preparation of the show and also others who are assisting backstage and with the sound and lighting.

Year 12 students have also worked on costume and set design and Year 13 students have created the fabulous make up designs and helped build the set.

Tickets are on sale priced £4 and available from the school’s drama office.
