A HALF term extravaganza of treats is planned for youngsters around the district.

Everything from circus skills and drumming to canoeing and a climbing wall will be available for schoolchildren aged three to 17.

From February 15-21 Tendring District Council has lined up an extensive programme at its leisure centres and other sporting venues right across the district from Brightlingsea to Clacton and Dovercourt to Frinton and Walton.

Sports coaching will also be at Clacton Rugby Club, Tendring Technology College, Clacton Golf Club, Great Holland Village Hall, Long Meadows Community Hall in Dovercourt, Clacton Coastal Academy, Frinton Golf Club and Millers Barn Golf Club.

Children can chose from tag rugby, badminton, golf, tennis, basketball, canoe taster, trampoline, football, cricket, climbing wall, karate, volleyball and more.
