TWO of Clacton’s favourite funnymen will be welcomed back to the West Cliff Theatre tonight***2***.

Both Jimmy Cricket and Don Maclean have enjoyed successful summer seasons in Clacton.

There’s no summer season in Clacton this year but the two men have joined forces and recruited Irish songbird Dana to stage a magical variety show for the town.

The Irish comedian Jimmy Cricket- the man with the wellington boots and plantpot hat-regularly appears in Clacton after taking his first steps into showbusiness at the resort’s old Butlins holiday camp.
