Exhibition helps put people on the right career path

ADVICE was flowing freely last Thursday at the Gazette’s combined Business, Jobs and Training Exhibition at Charter Hall, Colchester.

Again, it was well attended with more than 1,100 people through the doors.

This is the third year the Jobs and Training Exhibition has been running in Colchester but the first year to bring business exhibitors to the town.

The Jobs and Training Exhibition was full of companies giving helpful advice with the aim of getting perspective job hunters the career they desire.

Ginette May, recruitment manager, was pleased to be able to give job seekers the opportunity to talk with local employers and also get advice on training opportunities available.

Companies attending the exhibition included the Army, Jobcentre Plus, Essex Air Ambulance, Otley College, BCT Consortium, Family Mosaic, The Consultancy Home Counties, TBG Learning and Partnerships in Care to name a few.

The CV Database was there to talk about how to upload a CV to the Gazette’s CV Database.

For anyone who was unable to talk to the Gazette team, there is still a chance to upload a CV by logging onto www.gazette-news.co. uk/jobs/cvservices.

It is free to upload a CV and there is the chance you could get headhunted by local and national employers.

It is certainly worth entering your details as the dream job could be just around the corner.
