Seasiders still have something to play for

FC CLACTON manager David Coyle said his players will be playing for cup final places when they face Thetford Town at the Rush Green Bowl in division one tomorrow.

The game will mark the end of the Seasiders' league campaign, but they still have a Harwich Charity Cup final to look forward to on Tuesday and Coyle wants his players to impress ahead of that game.

"There is still something to play for as we are facing Walsham-le-Willows, who are a premier division side, on Tuesday," he said.

"I'm looking for good performances as people are playing for their places in that final.

"We want to do as well as we can as it is a good cup and an impressive bit of silverware."

Coyle said Sean Hillier will miss the game tomorrow through personal commitments, but would have a full-strength squad otherwise.
