(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of York Road, Clacton-on-Sea in the District of Tendring, from a point 30 metres north of its junction with Hereford Road,
north for a distance of 50 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 6 February 2012 for 1 day or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while a crane operates in the road. The alternative route will be via Hereford Road - Kenilworth Road - Frinton Road and vice versa. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 6 February 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 2 February 2012.
