Hundreds turn out for emotional seafront service to mark Great War outbreak

AN emotional service was held at Clacton’s seafront memorial to mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War.

More than 250 people of all ages turned out for the service on Sunday, crowding around the war memorial to pay their respects to those whomade the ultimate sacrifice.
