A DECISION is set to be made on a major development proposal in Clacton including a cinema and a supermarket.
Plans were submitted at the beginning of the year for the Clacton Gateway development.
It would include building a six-screen multiplex cinema and an 80,000 square-foot supermarket on unused land by Brook Retail Park roundabout.
Tendring Council’s planning officers have examined the proposal in detail and it will now be discussed by the council’s planning committee, which will make a final decision.
It is on the agenda for the committee’s meeting on June 24.
The Gateway plans have been submitted by Clacton-based developer Britton Construction.
