VOLUNTEERS are needed for the Summer Reading Challenge.
Essex Libraries is asking people aged 14 and above to take part in the scheme, which aims to ensure children keep reading over the summer holidays.
Volunteers who can spare at least 15 hours between July 19 and September 1 are being asked to apply to take part by May 23.
Those over 16-years-old will need a disclosure and barring service check.
